RollPilot

Attendance management built for real classrooms.

RollPilot helps faculty create sessions, manage check-ins, track late arrivals, handle exceptions, and keep attendance records organized.

The problem

Attendance sounds simple until it is not.

Between paper sheets, spreadsheets, late arrivals, excused absences, make-up policies, and students checking in at the wrong time, attendance can become surprisingly messy.

RollPilot is designed to help with

  • Creating and managing course sessions.
  • Generating live QR codes and check-in links.
  • Supporting NFC and magic-link workflows.
  • Applying class-level late thresholds.
  • Flagging check-in conflicts instead of silently overwriting faculty-entered attendance.
  • Reviewing, correcting, and exporting attendance records.

Designed for faculty-first workflows

RollPilot is intended to work outside a single institution’s assumptions. Faculty should be able to create an account, set up classes, load rosters by email, and manage attendance without requiring a custom campus deployment.

1

Create classes

Faculty can create courses, load roster data, and configure class settings.

2

Run sessions

Generate check-ins for each class session and let students confirm attendance quickly.

3

Review records

Handle exceptions, resolve conflicts, and keep clean attendance records over time.
